Next Generation Academy is proud to offer a unique opportunity this summer for students and adults to explore the timeless beauty of Arabic calligraphy. Our 4-week Arabic Calligraphy Program is designed to introduce learners to the traditional art form in an engaging and accessible way.

About the Program

Arabic calligraphy is more than just artistic handwriting. It is a spiritual and cultural tradition that celebrates the beauty of the Arabic language. Through this program, participants will learn foundational techniques while gaining an appreciation for the discipline, patience, and creativity required to master the art.

The course is led by our expert instructor, Fatima Sughra, who brings years of experience in Arabic calligraphy and Islamic art instruction. Her sessions are well-structured, calming, and inspiring—perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

Program Details

Location: Next Generation Academy
Dates: Every Friday for 4 weeks
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Instructor: Fatima Sughra
Eligibility: Open to teens and adults (ages 13+)
What’s Included: All calligraphy supplies and light refreshments
Final Session: Certificate presentation and end-of-program celebration

Participants will learn how to use traditional calligraphy tools, practice proper stroke techniques, and develop their own lettering style through guided practice and individual feedback.
